The Vice President role of Alpha Phi Sigma is similar and gives students the ability to have more opportunities, such as prison visits, and can provide benefits for future jobs after graduation. I have been passionate about the criminal justice system since I was a young child, and contributing to others’ success as well as my own within the Criminal Justice and Criminology Department has been amazing. Being the chair of the WSU Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) Advisory Board allows me to represent other students in finding connections with community partners, faculty, and staff to bring change to the surrounding area. Bringing change to the community is something that all college students have the power to do, but do not utilize their power enough, and I want to drive those efforts. Having the opportunity to be a part of all of these organizations has truly allowed me to know, during these past three years at WSU, that I picked the right college. I am excited to see what the future brings.

Congratulations Class of 2019!

Fall 2019

Graduate Students

Doctor of Philosophy in Criminal Justice and Criminology: Duane Stanton

Dr. Duane Stanton.

Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology: Samantha Bill and Jerrica Kjorsvik

Masters degree graduates Jerrica Kjorsvik (2nd from left) and Samantha Bill (2nd from right) are flanked by spring 2020 master’s degree candidates Gagenpreet Dhatt and Alexis Nordman.

Undergraduate Students

Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology: 33 graduates

Undergraduate Profile &
