Dr. Craig Hemmens, Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, was selected for the prestigious Fellows Award  by the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences for 2024. He received the Award at the annual meeting of ACJS in March 2024. This award is given to only one Criminal Justice/Criminology scholar per year for distinguished career research contributions to the discipline. The person selected for this award must also be an accomplished teacher and is known for their service to the discipline.
