Dr. David Makin receives Exceptional Professor Award

 

On May 1 this year during the 2nd Annual Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day, the Association of Students of Washington State University (ASWSU) awarded Dr. David Makin with the Exceptional Professor Award for the College of Arts and Sciences. The exceptional professor award category represents those displaying exceptional teaching and dedication to student success. Comments from those nominating David, spoke to his ability to help students understand complicated topics, his willingness to help students succeed within their fields, his passion for teaching, and overall dedication to his students and to Washington State University. The event was hosted by ASWSU and in attendance was then-Provost and current interim president Dr. Dan Bernardo.
