Bryan Vila appears on Today show


Dr. Bryan Vila appeared on NBC’s Today show earlier this year in a featured segment on distracted police driving. Vila allowed NBC News chief investigative corresponded, Jeff Rossen, to go behind the wheel of WSU-Spokane’s SHOT Lab’s driving simulator that is regularly used to test officers’ eye movement and reaction time. After showing Rossen how difficult the addition of common distractions, such as the police car onboard computer, can be, Vila suggested three solutions to these distractions.
