Next spring break, twelve students will have the opportunity to discover the English criminal justice system during a week-long stay in London. Dr. Jacqueline van Wormer will be leading the group through an experiential exploration of police, courts, prisons, as well as government, and touristic attractions in London from March 15 to the 23, 2014. Dr. Melanie-Angela Neuilly designed the course in collaboration with the Global Learning component of the International Programs Office at Washington State University along with the third party provider Select Travel, specializing in Criminal Justice study abroad programs. This study abroad opportunity will constitute a three-credit course, listed as CRM J 491: Criminal Justice Abroad. The Department has made two small scholarships available for competition to those enrolled, with an application deadline in early December.
